During our lifetime we have seem incredible advances in all aspects of our physical and technological lives. In the process, our social norms have evolved so that science has largely replaced relig ion and self-interest has become our morality. (Thomas Moore in the forward to The Wisdom Way of Knowing by Cynthis Bourgeault) These days of retreat will engage three-centered knowing of the ancient wisdom traditions: the intellectual center (the one we are most familiar with in our culture), the body or the moving center, and the emotional or heart center. We will combine chanting, silent meditation, presentation, and physical labor to help open all three centers and move more deeplyinto life and openne to transformation.
Based on the book The Wisdom Way of Knowing by Cynthia Bourgeault and Other Ways of Knowing by John Broomfield.
