Conversations on Race 301 (Zoom) CHANGE IN SCHEDULE
Third and Fourth Monday mornings, 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Nov 16th and 23rd, Dec 15 and 22nd (to be decided)

Book discussion group on racism in our society, exploring our assumptions and experiences and how to move to a more just society. Beginning this fall, we’ll focus on the book My Grandmother’s Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending Our Hearts and Bodies, by Resmaa Menakem. This book discusses the generational racialized trauma caused by racism and how to heal it. Please have a version of the book available for the sessions.

Note: A few of us will also be working through the activities in Be Antiracist, a Journal for Awareness, Reflection and Action, by Ibram Kendi.
