Edible and Medicinal Plant Walk
September 12, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with Heather Houskeeper

Join Heather Housekeeper, aka The Botanical Hiker, for a guided edible and medicinal plant walk on the beautiful grounds at Cobblestone Springs. Heather will share tips for proper identification, methods for sustainably harvesting plants, and easy ways to prepare them as food and medicine. Foraging is healthy, low-cost, and a way in which we can foster a deeper connection to nature.

After the hike, we’ll enjoy a wild edible snack and herbal tea.

Presenter: Heather Houskeeper, the Botanical Hiker, is a Certified Herbalist, long-distance hiker, author, and lover of all things wild.
