Watercolor Workshops with Kristin Malone

Friday, August 13 10a-4p

This workshop is an introduction to basic watercolor methods, with particular focus on creating washes. Included will be demonstrations, exercises, handouts, and lots of opportunity to explore this medium, working either indoors or out.
Designed for beginners or those who are looking for a jump start.
Program Fee: $70

Please contact cobblestonespringsrc@gmail.com to register. Both programs for this weekend with an overnight stay in the mansion are available for $200. Please bring your own lunch, coffee and tea will be provided.


More information about additional watercolor supplies needed will be emailed to registrants a month before the workshop.
Some materials will be available: Drawing paper, watercolor paper, some brushes and paints, drawing boards.

Kristin Malone is a versatile artist who lives and works in Rochester, New York. She has been a teacher in the visual arts since graduating from Nazareth College of Rochester and receiving her Masters in Art Education from Buffalo State. Kristin is a native of Elmira, New York and is always inspired by the landscape of the western New York Finger Lakes.
