Classics in Spirituality, October 4 & 11: Repentance and Forgiveness in Judaism

Classics in Spirituality is a regular feature of Cobblestone’s programming. This program is scheduled on first and second Mondays of each month (unless the first is a holiday) at 11 a.m. to noon. This year the series continues to be presented via Zoom; please contact us at CobblestoneSpringsRC@gmail.com to receive the Zoom link. Videos of most past programs (since fall 2020) are posted on our Vimeo channel.

Repentance and Forgiveness in Judaism with Dr. Leslie Schwartz

Leslie’s popular programs use ancient Jewish texts like the Torah and Talmud to engage us in stories that reflect on principles in keeping with their goal-to make our own lives holy through study, questioning, and gratitude. In these sessions we’ll be discussing the concepts of repentance and forgiveness.

Download the handout for these sessions.

Presenter: Dr. Leslie Schwartz is a long time student of ancient Jewish texts. She has a liberal Jewish tradition and enjoys exploring other viewpoints on these concepts.
