Every single creature is full of God and a book about God. Every creature is a word of God.
Meister Eckhart
Reading the book of nature, we open our hearts to God. Terra Divina is a 4-part contemplative practice that involves reading the “text” of the landscape and meditating on whatever has caught our attention, followed by the prayer of yearning in which we let the natural world work within us, closing with contemplation, or resting in the presence. Plan for an outdoor program on the grounds and trails at Cobblestone lasting about an hour and a half.

Come on a leisurely walk in quiet and let your senses and imagination become absorbed in the gifts of creation. As we move slowly or rest on benches on the property, we will engage in this process of connecting with the landscape and life of Cobblestone Springs.
Facilitator: Holly Rockwell is a spiritual director, Ignatian prayer guide for more than 10 years, a retreat leader and master naturalist. She has been affiliated with Mercy Spirituality Center and is currently retreat leader at Estuary Soul Care.
